We're getting shower after hard shower so it has a chance to soak in before the next one arrives.
It's a good thing I picked some green beans last night because there's no way either of us will be able to pick today.
Dinner was green beans and cornbread--delicious! No wonder I slept as well as I did.

It's nearly 9 am and we're still getting some hard showers. Those will soon end since the cloud has business elsewhere.
Looks like the rain is over for the moment (just after 11am). We got showers almost steadily from about 7:30am on and I can still hear thunder rumbling off in the distance.
